The area Stone Hill becomes the greatest residential area of Minsk

The area Stone Hill can become the greatest residential area of Minsk: here is planned to construct almost 2 million in sq. m of habitation. That was informed in Open Society MAPID which has already placed here in operation more than ten apartment houses.

Architects suggest to create in the area Stone Hill ensemble from five microdistricts. The building basis will be made by houses in height in 9 and 16 floors. The group of 9 and 18-storeyed houses constructed under individual projects will decorate area. Thus houses are erected by groups, the uniform domestic space on which is possible to organise a high-grade children's playground, vacation spots thereby is created. For new area the scheme of parking is thought over also. Cars can be parked on perimetre of each quarter, instead of in court yard. For this purpose in each of five microdistricts will organise to thousand parking places.

The green zone in the form of a horseshoe becomes architectural "highlight" of the Stone Hill. It will lie through all microdistricts. Schools (according to plan of 11 schools), kindergartens (18), sports and children's playgrounds here will register. And in the centre of the Stone Hill are planned the local market, consumer services establishments, sports and recreation complex with pool, a cinema, musical school, restaurant and cafe, library, the youth entertainment center and other objects.
