Lukashenko has disposed to give to investors grounds on perimetre of the Belovezhsky dense forest

Grounds on perimetre of the Belovezhsky dense forest will be given investors. Such order was given by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, visiting the Belovezhsky dense forest.

"In Belovezhsky dense forest nobody will build anything, and only on its perimetre, extent about 250 km, we will give on favourable terms grounds for infrastructure creation", - the head of the state has told. "Let build hotels, points of rest, a food service. It is new workplaces for us, and here will go tourists from all countries", - he has added.

The president considers the Belovezhsky dense forest as rather unique edge. "We should keep this denseness of the central part of a dense forest that people could touch that protogenic that was once. This really unique place here again is necessary to receive health", - he has noted.

The head of the state has visited the administrative-ecological centre with a nature museum, has examined its expositions. Alexander Lukashenko has left record in the Book of guests of honour of a museum of the nature. "The 600 anniversary of an establishment of a reserved mode in Belovezhsky dense forest - significant event not only for Belarus, but also for all Europe, all world. UNESCO has brought this anniversary in number of official memorials of the present, - to be told in record. - a dense forest - a unique nature sanctuary, our national pride. Therefore the state uses the best efforts, that it and further corresponded to those high titles, pleased present and future generations".

Then the President has moved on the Imperial glade of the Belovezhsky dense forest where was present at a concert devoted to celebrating of the 600 anniversary of an establishment of a reserved mode in more. Upon termination of a concert Alexander Lukashenko has extinguished the block of a stamp devoted to this date.

Thus the head of the state has paid attention that all economic activities should be not in a damage more, and in the blessing.

"It is necessary to make everything that the dense forest and further corresponded to those high titles which to it are appropriated, - Alexander Lukashenko has noted. It's our relic".

The president has underlined that reserved places serve in Belarus and should serve the people, its present and the future. "It is impossible to forget that and we develop national parks, reserves not for the sake of hunting and entertainment of high officials as it happened during the different historical periods, - the Belarus leader has told. - for all years of the presidency I have never dared to enter into wood with a gun. And I demand that from you". All large and significant natural objects are under the state protection.

Belovezhsky dense forest - one of national symbols of Belarus, its card, the greatest property and pride of the people. "The Belovezhsky dense forest fanned by legends - last great wood of Europe, a surprising nature sanctuary which many name one of miracles of the world. And it is valid so! It more than a miracle of the world. Here up to now the protogenic majestic peace, the most unique on a biological variety, by quantity of the rare kinds of flora and fauna was preserved", - the President has noted. In its opinion, uniqueness of this place also that it can be used for the health blessing.

On preservation and creation of an infrastructure of reserved places of Belarus 5 % of means of fund of wildlife management will go. These means will start to arrive since January, 1st, 2010. "I hope, you as zealous owners, with advantage will use them", - the head of the state has told.

Belarus is famous not only for the Belovezhsky dense forest. In all regions of the country there are unique natural objects: national parks "Narochansky", "Pripjatsky", "Braslavsky lakes", Berezinsky biospheric reserve, reserves "Naliboksky", "Almansky bogs", "Average Pripyat" and others. In total there is about one and a half thousand especially protected natural territories occupying almost 2 million of hectare.

The head of the state is assured that celebrating at the international level of the 600 anniversary of an establishment of a reserved mode in Belovezhsky will promote more to popularisation not only this most ancient wood of Europe, but also all complex of reserved places of Belarus, will allow to unite efforts on preservation and expansion of natural riches.

As to the Belovezhsky dense forest, that, according to Alexander Lukashenko, belongs to those objects which value is difficult for overestimating. "It's a pearl not only domestic, but also the world nature", - he has told. Therefore it is no wonder that for today the Belovezhsky dense forest has all highest nature protection titles. In 1992 it has been included by UNESCO decision in the list of the World cultural and natural heritage. In 1993 the Belovezhsky dense forest has received the status of biospheric reserve, and in the end of 1997 the Council of Europe has awarded with its European diploma as reference nature protection establishment.

Constantly popularity of the Belovezhsky dense forest grows, its role in working out and realisation of the world strategy of wildlife management raises. In this plan the Government program of development of especially protected natural territories accepted in Belarus for 2008-2014 has great value. Recently a number of measures on development of national park "Belovezhsky dense forest" is accepted: the territory is expanded, considerable investments are put in development of a tourist infrastructure, the Belarus Father Frost estate has opened, there is erected administrative-ecological centre with a nature museum, the available hotel is reconstructed and the new is constructed. It is even more planned to make for national park in the near future. Protection and nature studying, tourism and formation should be the basic directions of work here, the President has noted.
